Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Business Administration (m/f/d)

During the Study Program.

The concept of the Dual Study Program in Business Administration – Industrial focuses not only on the fundamental business skills and knowledge of an economist but also on providing all the important industry-specific content. Graduates stand out as independent thinkers and responsible decision-makers with critical judgment in both business and society. Potential career paths after graduation include areas such as finance and accounting, controlling, human resources, materials and production management, logistics management, marketing and sales management, and more.

The Bachelor’s program is designed to integrate professional work. During the three-year program, theory and practical phases alternate approximately every twelve weeks. For the theory phases, you will attend one of the Dual Universities in Baden-Württemberg, and the practical blocks take place at our company. Here, you will have the opportunity to get to know all relevant departments of the company and put your acquired knowledge into practice. After specializing in two focus areas during the third year and completing your thesis, you will graduate. The combination of theory and practice will optimally prepare you for your future career.

Testimonials.

My name is Larissa, and I started my dual study program in Business Administration with a focus on Industry at KNIPPING KUNSTSTOFFTECHNIK GESSMANN GmbH in October 2017. I am currently in my 4th semester, which marks the 2nd year of my studies.

In 2016, I attended the IHK Education Fair in Heilbronn to learn more about various companies and study programs. I was drawn to the company by the friendly conversations and positive impressions I had there.

I particularly appreciate the three-month alternating periods between theory at DHBW in Mosbach and the practical part at the company, where I can apply the knowledge I’ve gained. From the very beginning, I was entrusted with my own tasks in various departments, which has helped me learn to work independently.

What stands out to me the most is the family-like atmosphere, the friendly colleagues, and the events KNIPPING organizes for its employees. The Christmas party is especially memorable, where trainees and students help with the organization.

Another highlight for me is the annual trainee weekend, where the new apprentices and students join. All trainees and students spend an entire weekend together, getting to know each other through various games and cooking events. The evenings are spent relaxing by the campfire.
