During the Training.
Basic Metal Training
The basic metal training primarily focuses on gaining fundamental knowledge about the materials, measuring tools, and machine tools used, as well as developing manual dexterity. This includes tasks such as marking, center punching, filing, sawing, drilling, and measuring. The basic manual training lasts approximately four months.
Following this, you will receive training on machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, and electrical discharge machines.
Training at the Workbench
Training at the workbench is the core part of the apprenticeship and takes the longest. Under the guidance of your trainer, you will work on injection molding tools (e.g., polishing, fitting, texturing, etc.). Afterward, you will be allowed to independently manufacture injection molding tools and fixtures.
Training in Other Departments
You will also be trained in the departments of Design/Development, Tool Repair, and Quality Control. In the Design/Development department, you will gain basic drawing skills. During this time, you will independently create tools from drawings, and you will be taught how to correctly read and understand technical drawings. In the Quality Control department, you will learn how to check the dimensional accuracy of finished plastic parts and assess whether they meet our customers’ standards. In the Tool Repair department, you will learn how to repair and maintain tools.
