During the Training.

As an IT Specialist for System Integration (m/f/d) at KNIPPING, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex IT systems. You will install, network and deploy systems while ensuring their ongoing operation and maintenance. Collaborating with your team, you’ll find the best solutions for various challenges.

Your role also includes managing wireless and fixed networks, ensuring IT security, protecting data and maintaining client-server architectures—distributing services and tasks within a network. Additionally, providing advice and support to employees will be part of your daily tasks.

My name is Andreas, and I’m in my first year of training as an IT Specialist for System Integration in Leingarten.

Some of my tasks include client installation, assigning permissions and shares, and even installing and commissioning servers.

I started my training as an ‘IT Specialist for System Integration’ at Knipping Kunststofftechnik Gessmann GmbH in September 2021.

My primary training location is the Leingarten site, but you also get the opportunity to visit our other locations, such as Talheim.

I’m now in my second year of training and recently completed my intermediate school exam. So far, I’ve had consistently positive experiences.

During a short internship, I found the working atmosphere very pleasant, which is why I decided to start my training here.

I was warmly welcomed by the team, the range of tasks is diverse, and you get to work with many different people.

In addition, trainee events are organized regularly. One of my personal highlights was the go-karting activity.
